Up for auction is a 1971 Dodge Charger RT 440, 4 barrel, Hemi 18 spline 4 speed, 354 Dana rear end. GY8 Gold paint TX9 Black interior, Black vinyl top Non console (Correct tall hurst shifter), turn down exhaust, Stripe delete, Power steering, Manual brakes, Max cool option, AM radio, driver chrome mirror. All Number matching, including engine, trans, rearend, cowl numbers, radiator support numbers, dash vin tag, two fender tags, two orginal broadcast sheets. This is a project car in need of finishing. It is quite rare as only 334 were built with the 4 speed option. Have 90 to 95% parts to finish. I purchased the car from Oklahoma and brought to Wi in 1999 Was rotisery restored to this point, media blasted and parts dipped. Epoxy sealer, Urethane primer. Was factory undercoated and was in excellent condition, it has been retained to keep it factory orginal. Original engine with correct 6 pac crank, pan, heads, intake, exhaust manifolds, pullys, chain cover, water pump, fan, correct 4 speed carb, bell housing, clutch, motor mounts. Motor will need weld repair by freeze plugs do to water freeze. Front suspension completely retored and rebuilt, 100% all new ball joints, ends, bushings, etc, Rear leaf springs disassembled and rebuilt, all new bushings. Heater box completely rebuilt. Restored or new brake parts. K Frame, steering column, torsion bars, drive shaft, trans cross member, gas tank are restored. Trans and rearend orignal mechanical but have been correctly restored. Have all chrome trim, which has been buffed. Wheel open mouldings are original and in fair condition. All original sheet metal, no floors, quarters, fenders, etc, replace. Front and rear valance are correct for 1971. doors are original. All glass is orginal, both windshields correctly buffed. Both bumpers orignal and correct, will need rechrome. Original front grills and headlights. Hood insert complete top and bottom, completely restored and straight. New correct wiper motor, new correct master brake cylinder, new rubber bushing, stoppers, etc for entire car. Original window glass rubber in excelent condition. Original gas lines and some brake lines. Perfect door sills. New headliner replace, Dash completely restored, excellent dash pad, new window shelf, new backseat divider, original door and kick panels in very nice condition, new window felts for all side glass. All seat belts restored, in excellent condition. All door cranks and pulls in excellent condition. Working AM radio, correct antenna. Excellent sunvisors and rear view mirror. All original seats, will need new uplostry, nice seat backs. Excelent sail panels and pillar trim. Excellent steering wheel and center horn piece. Car is completely trimed out and ready for paint. May need a couple of hours of work due to sitting for about 3 years. Minor rust repair was accomplish with patch panels on lower quarters and dog legs about 6 inches up. Any filler is less than 1/8 inch thick and was kept to a minimum. Car was never in an accident. Zero rust on frames rail. Original trunk floor and interior floors, surface rust only, just cleaned primed and painted. All rust free inner fenders. No patches in doors or trunk lid, they are rust free originals, stripped primed and trimed out. Patch panels in lower fender dog legs. Whats not there Exhaust pipes and mufflers, Radiator, Rear lights, Carpet, Shocks, Outside door handles, Engine parts as described above, wheels and tires ( have a complete set of 18 crager style rims and tires for extra) vinyl top material, carpet. Car will roll on stilts and can be winch onto trailer, all parts must be placed in boxes, trans and engine not in car. Do not bid on this car unless you intend to purchase. Torsion bar mounts in cross member are perfect, never coroded or cracked. . Coded for Ralley type 15 inch wheels and trim with G60 polyglas tires. Fender tags are 100% originals in perfect condition, never rusted. Broadcast sheets are very nice originals, 98% ledible 100% between the two. The original door sticker with vin and date is excellent and never removed. Not a rear spoiler car but is drilled correctly, have a fair spoiler for extra charge. Have the following correct parts, most have been restored or very good originals. wiper blades, headlight trim, clutch rod, hose clamps, power steering pump (apart) Air cleaner, engine brackets and spark plug wire guides, original keys, door and trunk locks, gas tank filler tube, license plate brackets front and rear, battery tray. Have all bumper brackets complete and restored with all bolts. Have all side markers and housings in excelent condition. Have orginal wire harness in nice condition. Have all vinyle top moldings in excelent condition. Have valve cover breather, and both gromets No, alternator, valve covers, battery cables, radiator hoses, belts, fan clutch, Bumpers are correct for 71 and are rust and dent free. Have correct excellent radiator shrod. Have new exhaust heat riser (butterfly), not installed Have complete and correct bumper jack and hook. Have working original horns Have 3 new rubber brake hoses. I have been told it is but it is an unknown The trans and rear end are original condition, restored cosmetically not mechanically Car cannot be loaded on a transport carrier, it can be winch onto a standard car trailer that has a full deck so the stilts can roll.
