1947 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup, Total Frame-Off rebuild completed in Sept. 1999. Truck has about 300 miles since completion and has set in a collector car guys museum until this summer. Body was taken apart down to the last nut and bolt, suspension, steering and brakes were all replaced with new or NOS parts. The engine and transmission were rebuilt. The rear gear ratio was changed to allow for highway speeds. Truck was converted to a 12 volt system, with an alternator and a wire works circuit panel and wiring harness. AM/FM cassette, modern heating and defrost system, electric wipers and new battery. All new glass, welting, and interior. Gauges were also rebuilt and everything works. No rust, Paint is very nice.
