Here is an amazing car. I purchased it as a Audi Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from an Audi dealer in 2007. It has served us well as a weekend toy and long road trip vehicle. It is not a daily driver and it kept in a heated garage at our home. I am the second owner - the car was bought new in Beverly Hills, CA. It is fully loaded and everything works as it should. All services are 100% up to date. It has only 30,500 original miles. The tires have only approx 6,000 miles on them and are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. *AS A BONUS* The winning bidder will also receive a set of 4 Summer wheels and tires for this car. The wheels are 20" August Werke 20" that were designed especially by August wheel in Germany to compliment the lines of the A8. The tires are Continental UHP Summer High Performance with less than 5000 miles on them. When new, the wheels and tires were over $2000 for the set. No used parts, no aftermarket parts...100% New Audi! The paint work and fit and finish of the new parts are flawless and were professionally done at a local body shop known for high quality work. The decision to facelift the car was due to an incident with a very small deer that damaged ONLY the original front bumper, grille and hood. There was no fender, frame, windshield or any kind of serious damage to the car at all, it was entirely cosmetic and the perfect opportunity to make the car look newer instead of going back to the older split front grille from 2005. The headlights were undamaged but needed to be replaced for the facelift. They are the OEM Audi LED and Bi-Xenon headlamps. We went with a brand new 2009 S8 front bumper cover with the square fog lamps, a brand new 2009 hood and a brand new 2009 W12 Grille. It is a striking and awesome combination. I am an Audi enthusiast and the car has recieved nothing but the very best of care. While no used car is "new" - this is as close to new as you can realistically get considering the age and low miles. I did include some pictures of the damage from the deer hit that were taken right after we got home. The car was completely drivable and we drove it home after it happend and for a month or so waiting for the new parts to come in. There was no loss of coolant or any fluids, everything still worked including the A/C. We did replace the radiator with a new OEM one. Simply put - minor cosmetic damage from a deer that was about the size of a large dog. I think its important to provide as much information as possible so you feel comfortable with the purchase. The CPO warranty expired in May of 2011. I had the Audi dealer go over the car with a close eye prior to the expiration to see if there was anything that needed attention. There was not. All service has been performed by my local Audi dealer. A transmission fluid change was done last fall and it has the new Audi *Blue* fluid in it. The NADA retail of this car is $31,200. Not many cars bring retail - but considering the facelift, ultra-low miles and previous Audi CPO status this car should be at least in the retail ballpark. I have a clear Iowa title in hand, there are no leins on the vehicle. The car runs and drives perfectly and the Quattro All Wheel Drive is amazing in all conditions - especially in winter. The Audi A8 is one of the safest cars you can buy, and it's all Aluminum construction means no wories about rust. One big advantage of owning this updated 2005 is that (depending on your state) you may get substantial benefits in the form of cheaper licnese plates fees, taxes and insurance when compared to a newer model but still have the new Audi front. Additionally - This version of the 4.2 V8 is the same reliable engine Audi has used for years and does not have the carbon deposit problems of the newer Audi FSI engines.
