This great American classic has a very mean look with the sound to match. This 1969 Mustang Fastback Boss 302 Clone was fully restored in 1999 and was just recently freshened up. During the earlier restoration the engine and transmission were both fully rebuilt, and are numbers matching. The intake manifold was switch to an Edelbrock high performance 4 barrel aluminum intake. The carburetor was swapped to a 4 barrel Edelbrock racing unit. The exhaust system was upgraded to headers, dual pipes, and Flowmaster mufflers. This Mustang has the true American muscle car rumble, which you would expect to here. Just recently, under the hood, the valve covers were switched to 302 stamped ribbed covers. A full tune-up including plugs, wires, battery, oil, etc. was completed in the last 30 miles. The engine first right up with the first twist of the key and the transmission shifts flawlessly. The paint on the exterior was professionally done in 2000 in a 2 stage (base then clear) ’69 Mustang red. The blackout hood and trunk was completed within the last 6 months and turned out perfectly. The Boss 302 side decals were added within the last month and give the car a great look. The chrome on this car is PERFECT. The rims and tires are Bulliitt Mustang 17" wheels with brand new racing tires. The full package gives the car a great Boss 302 appearance, but still maintaining the sought-after side vents. The interior has undergone a major restoration within the last 6 months as well. The seats were recovered in factory correct Mach 1 upholstery. The door panels were replaced and both top and bottom metal trim was repainted. The headliner and carpet were also both replaced. The interior is very nice and not even broken in yet.
