Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 You are bidding on a triple-black 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner, 2-dr HT, 440/AT with all of its original body and floor panels never having any rust or rot issues--just a nice, clean, laser-straight solid car. This car originally came from Pensacola, Florida about 8 years ago and has been garage-kept, never having seen any winters with the paint still looking fabulous and still holding a beautiful shine. This is a factory Air Condition car with factory tinted glass. The original 383 is gone and has been replaced with a very strong running 1967 date-coded GTX 440 engine that has less than 10,000 miles since rebuild. The 906 heads have been redone, and it has a Lunati Street Performance flat-tappet cam with a new double roller timing chain and gears, new oil pump, water pump, as well as a Torker Intake with a Holley double-pump carb, with Hooker Headers and 2 1/2” Super-44 Flow Master mufflers and exhaust. It still has its original transmission with a mild shift kit and the original 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears, manual drum brakes, power steering, with the rest of the car also retaining its original equipment. I do have all of the original Air Conditioning components that are not pictured, but do come with the car. Also, trunk mat and jack assembly, also not pictured, come with the car as well. All of the chrome is in excellent condition and the interior is also in excellent condition, with the seats having no seam-splits and the dash and gauges near-perfect. Every light, all the gauges, and the radio also work just fine. This car starts and runs and drives excellent and has more power than needed and it is one of those cars that just have the “look” and “sound” that turns heads everywhere it goes, especially at local cruise-nights and car shows, where it has won multiple awards and typically draws large crowds around it. This is a real nice car that needs nothing, and one that you can just hop in and drive anywhere. Bidders are welcome to come in and inspect vehicle prior to auction’s end.
