Vehicle Detail
Selling a great, reliable 2002 Chevy Camaro. The interior is leather it does have T-Tops. This is an automatic. I bought the car at just under 100k miles and have used it travel up the east coast and back in the past couple months. The car is reliable and feels as such. I love the car, but I moved from Alabama back to NYC for school. I cannot afford to go to school and pay the insanely high insurance rates in my area (let alone the tickets that I've collected.) Plus, on top of everything, someone stole my license plate yesterday; probably because you don't see an Alabama license plate in NY every day. I've taken this as the final sign that I need to sell my car. As far as condition: Interior- a rip on the driver's side leather. One of the seats on the back can actually be detached from the car. I don't know if this is how it was designed, but it's nothing that is noticeable unless you do it on purpose. Exterior - A small amount of paint chipping on the front end. I included pictures. Missing the antenna. There is also a little dent over the top right wheel-well. This is presumably from the 1 accident on the Carfax record. There is absolutely no body damage or rust on the car. Mechanical- Check engine light for O2 sensor is on right now. But, the parts for this car are so inexpensive! I recently replaced the thermostat and it cost me $20. Coolant flush was done too. Also, brake pads could probably use a refresh. I replaced the battery with a Duralast Gold... the windshield wipers are new too! The car has a pioneer CD deck with an auxiliary jack built into it. This is incredibly convenient. The T-tops are an amazing feature. They're much more enjoyable than a sunroof, and a lot cooler than a convertible, imho. Concerning payment- I will take a money order, certified check, or direct transfer. I don't have the money to put into this car to fix the little issues that I've listed above, so this car will probably sell for a lot less than it's worth. I am not putting a reserve on it because I need to sell it ASAP. This is a clear title and it always has been. Keep in mind that the KBB value is $5000. It really is a great car and I'm sad to have to let it go. I have a feeling it will do another 100k miles with oil changes. Please bid generously. If anyone has any questions at all, please let me know. On Oct-16-11 at 15:19:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I've just added pictures of all the flaws.
