Vehicle Description 1970 GTO JUDGE Complete frame off Restoration Every Nut Bolt screw clip replaced with no expense spared. Hello all, Before you read about the Judge I will answer the question of WHY are you selling the car. Those of you who have seen my Judge listed a few weeks back know my father was 75 year old and very ill, He passed away Feb. 7th so I am now selling the Judge to take care of things and to give whats left to my mother to help her out. You can contact me with questions or offers via email at gtogearhead@aol.com or call me on my cell at 812-453-5760 But please only call if you are serious about purchasing the car. This is my personal Numbers matching 1970 Orbit Orange PHS Documented GTO Judge. I have been offered over 100,000.00 two different times for this car but just did not want to sell it at the time. You can get it for much less using the buy it now button , the only reason I am telling you about the previous offers is to help explain the quality of the Judge. I know the current economy has reaked havick on the price of muscle cars so I have adjusted the reserve as well as the buy it now to reflect this. I don't have to sell the car I am doing this to help out my mother so please make serious offers only. There is a lot of information to tell you about on this car so please take the time to read it all you won't be disappointed. This car is a real head turner and has won many awards. Simply put you just won't find a nicer restoration or a cleaner gto and the paint is beautiful. You can look at the hood of the car and read the banners on the wall of the garage 30 feet away. Featured article and cover car in Torque magazine July 2004. Featured PONTIAC car in the 2004 Evansville Auto Fest put on and supported by DTE with the help of Dennis Gage. Stats on the 1970 GTO & GTO Judges In 1970 Pontiac built 40,149 GTO's and only 3,797 of them were GTO Judges. My Judge is Orbit Orange and there were only 618 Orbit Orange Judges produced in 1970 . Out of all the colors Pontiac produced in 1970 for the GTO's the Orbit Orange was the lowest number produced. This GTO Judge was manufactured in the GM Canada factory and they only produced 215 Judges at this factory in 1970. and is documented by PHS as well as having the "W" on the Trim tag. Pontiac Historical Services: Vin # 242301###### ( The 42 indicates a GTO ) The Judge option Package : Judge strips and "The Judge" emblems, rear spoiler,Hood Tach, Hurst T shifter, The Judge emblem on the Glove Box and Rally Sport Steering wheel. PHS Documented Options: Rally Gauge cluster - Console-Power Disc Brakes-HD Radiator-4 speed CLO Muncie Transmission-Axle- Special Order 4:33- Radio- P/B-Hood Tach -MT-Power Strg-VAR-SPG SHKS R/H This GTO JUDGE was originally purchased from Austin Pontiac Inc. West Seneca NY in 1970 This GTO JUDGE has a WS Ram Air III 400 with a 4 barrel Carb. The engine is correct numbers matching engine. The engine specs are as follows: 1970 Letter Code: WS 366 HP Ram Air III Heads : Casting code # 12 ( for manual transmissions) 2.11 Intake 1.77 Exhaust screw in studs flow rate 72 Exhaust Manifolds: Ram Air exhaust manifolds Intake Manifold: Ram Air III Intake manifold casting number 9799068 Date code: 1970 Bell housing / Dust cover: Correct numbered bell housing and Dust cover for 1970 4 speed manual Transmission: Correct numbered Muncie 4 speed transmission with all linkage including the back drive linkage to operate the back up lights. This is left off of most restorations 4 speed shifter: Hurst factory shifter with Hurst T handle Rear End: Correct housing and tube Special order rear end with 4:33 gears. We have been told at many shows that the 4:33 rear end special order was one of about 15 that came from the factory in 1970 and that there are only about 5 still around. We have no way of proving this but many Judge experts have told us time and again the same story. The Judge currently has 3:90 rear gears installed I have the correct date coded 4:33 ring and pinion stored that goes with the car. Black Interior: The interior is flawless the only thing that does not work is the clock it runs just does not keep correct time, I just have not had a chance to get it rebuilt. Paint: The paint is beautiful the only flaws is the small hair line cracks in the paint on the top of the nose on the endure bumper. Most of you know this is common for the endure noses but would be a quick fix again I just have not had time to get it repainted. It is hardly noticable I tried to get pics of it but again the flaws are so small they won't show up in the photo's , but I want to be as honest as I can. Wheels: Currently it has the SS Crager wheels shown in the pics, these are not the ones you buy today from Summit I spent big dollars getting NOS vintage Crager Wheels a good friend of mine that owns a local tire company searched around the U.S. we found one of the rear wheels in CA, the other in GA and the two front wheels in OH. I wanted the original style dated from the 70's. Not that it matters I just wanted the original style. The Judge has air shocks on the rear of the car to allow for the wider tires I have the standard shocks and they go with the car as well. I do not have the correct 14 inch rally II wheels for the Judge it had 15 inch Rally II's that is what you see in some of the pics but I don't have the 15's anymore I sold them the 14's go with the car. Tires: 15" National Renegade XT Items that go with the car: PHS Doc. Info (Correct date coded 1970 4:33 gears.) ( Car Cover ) ( Factory style rear shocks ) 14 inch rally wheels The Judge runs strong and sounds great, I could go on and on about this car but I will stop here. If you have any questions feel free to email me at gtogearhead@aol.com and I will try to answer them as best I can.
