Vehicle Detail

Used Acura 2.2CL for sale. Perfect for mechanic or do-it-yourselfer. Currently in the shop for overheating issue. Took it to two shops who both said that the head gasket needs to be replaced. I was visiting someone in Virginia when it started smoking. Its proven to be too costly for me to tow it back to New York City and repair it there so I'm putting it up for sale. I've had the car since 2004 at 94,000 miles. It's currently at 157,303 miles. I changed the timing belt and water pump at roughly 120,000 miles. I've always brought it in for oil changes and checkups. This particular issue caught me by surprise. I honestly wasn't even thinking about selling it last week. I've been told that once the head gasket is replaced the car should run fine. The two main cooling system hoses were replaced and the radiator was drained to test liquid flow. A regulator was changed as well. It starts up and drives now, but it overheats within a couple of minutes. There are scratches on the body, but nothing that can't be polished and/or fixed. The interior is in really good condition as you can see by the pictures. I also have an aftermarket Pioneer stereo installed with auxiliary out and detachable face plate (Original radio is in trunk). Tires are good and rims are original factory installed. Right door lock motor will probably need to be replaced eventually. Auto sun roof, windows, and auto drivers seat work fine Car would need to be picked up at auto shop in Arlington, VA. I will be there with the title and to take off the New York State license plates on Saturday, October 15, 2011. I imagine it would be best to tow it from the shop to your place or keep it there for the repairs. Winning bidder will get all the details. Loved this car. If it wasn't for the overheating issue, I'd still be driving it today.
