Vehicle Detail
This is a 1982 and The vin number is ZLAFS00C6C0203524 - ebay does not recognize it and that was the reason I had to list it as a 1980. I do have a Clear PA title I have for sale or trade a 1982 Lancia Zagato Spider with only 59,000 original miles on the clock. This car was designed by Pininfarina of Ferrari fame and is very rare as only 790 were imported in 1982. Has removeable Targa Top and the rear window folds down making it essentially a convertible. It has a Fuel Injected 2.0 Liter 4 cylinder motor mated to a 5-speed transmission. The motor runs great and transmission shifts smoothly. Interior is in great condition with no rips or tears to the seats, no fading and no cracking of the dash. This car has had thousands invested in it over the last 2 years restoring it from motor to transmission, suspension, and interior,(basically most of the car was re done)and is nearly complete. I have all receipts and documentation as to what was done to the vehicle as well as detailed wiring schematics and complete automotive booklets. I have clean title in hand and it is PA inspected through August of 2012. This car is a head turner and attention grabber wherever it goes. The Following is a list of things that have been done to the vehicle in the last two years: Pulled Engine, Transmission and Subframe. Resealed Engine (all new gaskets and seals) Re-lapped values and replaced value seals New Water Pump New Timing Belt Tensioner New timing belt New v-belts New Rebuilt/Recorred Radiator from Midwest Bayless New Front and Rear Struts New Front Wheel Bearings Replaced all CV Joint Boots and regreased CV Joints Replaced Power steering rack boots Replaced Power Steering Fluid Replaced Coolant Replaced Transmissions seals Checked clutch components – like new Replaced clutch shaft bushing Installed transmission linkage kit Replaced engine oil and filter Replace transmission oil (correct type) Replaced all cooling system hoses Replaced all vacuum hoses Replaced all fuel hoses Replaced all fuel tank emission hoses Replaced fuel filter Fuel tank was professionally cleaned and sealed Steering wheel Stalks replaced A-Arm bushings replaced Ball Joints replaced Sway Bar bushings replaced Front seats re-stitched New tires New spark plugs New distributor pickup unit All electrical connections under the hood were cleaned and greased Main wired to starter was replaced (common issue with Lancia’s) New fuel filler hose New rear seat bottoms (Have originals that will go with the car) Bottom of car was undercoated with rust protectant New High Beam Headlamps Now for the Known minor Issues: The AC is no longer cold and most likely just needs recharged but would probably need converted since it's R-12 and that may be somewhat hard to locate. Paint is nice and shiny but has several runs that will most likely wet sand and buff out. Drivers side power window only goes halfway down but i'm including another complete window motor that functions fine and just needs installed. Exhaust has a small leak at the manifold and will require a new crush gasket they run around $17.00. Temperature gauge isn't registering anything and may require a new switch that can be bought online for $50 although I have driven it the last couple months several times a week and with the new radiator it isn't a pressing issue. Finally the windshield wiper bottle will need replaced as it is cracked. I have several parts that will go with the car included as stated above a new complete power window motor, New High Performance Accel Ignition Control module, as well as several other odds and ends. Overall this is a nice vehicle that is nearing completion of restoration. It runs great as I have driven this car 2-3 times a week for the last couple of months and have had no issues. Car was just put in storage for the winter so I'm using the pictures that I had taken in the previous weeks. I will try to get pictures of the interior and engine and add them but any additional pictures requested may take a day or two to get to you. I am setting the price extremely low for what I have invested with no reserve. I would love to keep it but financial hardship forces sale. Buyer is responsible for all matters regarding shipping of vehicle. I reserve the right to end auction at any time as vehicle is for sale locally. Good luck and Happy Bidding!!! On Oct-12-11 at 10:22:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Wanted to correct an error in the listing. I accidentally listed it as having power locks which it doesn't have but it does have power windows. On Oct-13-11 at 04:06:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Vehicle was taken out of storage as of Tuesday the 11th and is currently at my home in State College and available for viewing. Exact mileage as of that date was 58,383 but may go up slightly as I will drive it if the weather allows me to do so. Also a gentleman that came and looked at the vehicle brought to my attention that the drivers side rear turn signal has a small crack but it's very solid and is just a minor cosmetic issue that's barely noticeable. On Oct-13-11 at 05:40:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been getting several questions regarding rust and leaks. I am unaware of any major rust issues except for the small amount of bubbling and suface rust on the bottom of the doors as shown in the pictures. Please keep in mind that this is a 30 year old vehicle and there is no way for me to describe every dent, scratch, ding or spec of rust, and as with all older vehicles things may be missed. I would suggest if able for anyone bidding to come and inspect the vehicle and as always ask questions if their is any needed clarification. As for leaks their are none to speak of as the entire motor has been resealed and all other fluid lines have been replaced.
