Brand New Tires and Alignment just performed along with a Diesel Purge!Near mint condition for a 1983 model vehicle that has an excellent service record with nearly every detail recorded...down to wipers and bulb changes! As only the second owners of this car we can testify to the quality of this vehicle having been our daily driver for over three years. The car came out of Sacramento California and was sold simply due to the original owners age and ability to drive. Deemed the most durable motor in the world by numerous car aficionados this diesel engine really runs great, has strong compression, burns little to no oil, has no blow by and is just broke in at 240,000 miles! This car gets a lot of attention and most are baffled by its age. The car has a new Sony cd player with ipod jack...but has original speakers. We recently installed a new radiator which has allowed the car to run a bit cooler at higher speeds and the summer swelter. The A/C has been upgraded to 134A coolant and blows very cold. Other recent service; new glow plugs, front wheel bearing service, new reverse light lens, new mono valve, new alternator/fan belts, fender drains cleaned. We are selling the car to get a newer vehicle that has few more seats but it will certainly be missed. The car gets between 23mpg consistently and 26mpg on the highway depending on how hard you drive - we have no trouble running 80 and it is absolutely the best car I have ever driven in the rain.
