This 1947 Buick Roadmaster, model 71 would make the perfect project car. It is in running, driveable condition. The car drives pretty well and runs great, these Buick Straight Eights are pretty bulletproof. This is a car you restore or drive around as it is. The exterior is in decent shape. Someone did a poor paint job with a lot of fisheyes, but there isn't a lot of rust. It definitely needs some lovin' but it's a very solid car. The front bumper is a little rusty but the chrome on the back bumper is in pretty good shape. The chrome trim around the windows and and on the door handles is pitted. The stainless steel trim looks pretty good. The trunk floor has a couple of holes but is not nearly as bad as a lot of these old cars can get. There is a surprisingy low amount of rust on this car. The body underneath has some rust holes on the rockers but is pretty solid overall. The interior is a little rough. The upholstery needs redone.
