Vehicle Detail
Good Day, Up for auction is my 81 T/A that I had the pleasure of owning for 15yrs but I'm trying to start a business and I can't seem to put as much money in it as would like to so I've made the harsh decision of selling her. I no I can't get what I've put in to her over the years but I will not give her away. I'll start with what I accomplished I replaced the old 301 with borde 30over 400 with flat top pistons and recondition rods with arp bolts the crank turned 10/10 balanced and blue printed with a old school isky 510 lift cam, the top end consist of high compression 670 heads I say high compression because on a 400 the compression is high, torker 2 intake and a 750 holley carb, the transmission is a 350 turbo with shift kit Aluminum radiator and electric fan Never run on the street.or track just started and let idle. To break in the cam in I was told to run straight race fuel and after the break in mix 110 and reg fuel. The body is in fair condition with one rust spot on the drivers side front fender and a few dimples from a hail storm, the under carrige looks good. its always been under a cover and the cover comes with it. the gas gauge and the odmeter dont work. I just had new pair of composit leaf springs put on the rear and KYB shockes in all four corners I have new coil springs for the front but not put on, new front swaybar end links and new brake shoes in the rear. I just had a new electric fuel pump installed. Parts that will come with the car, a front lower spoiler new front coil springs rear tail lights with gas tank cover, and 1.65 aluminum roller rockers and 3:73 gears and a pair of 40 series flow master mufflers. What needs attention is a gas leak, when I had fuel pump put on, I told the shop to replace the fuel line they only replaced part of the line from the fuel pump and try to patch the leak, and the interior needs to be redone but if cleaned would look ok but the carpet is done as you can see in the pictures the drivers seat is torn. I had it painted some years a go at Macco . All in all these is a sweeet project with most of the work done I would like to see it finished I have a clear title in hand if your local you can come hear it run. you will be responsible for pick up and transport. I would be happy to answer any questiions you may have. I reserve the right to end auction early that it is listed locally. Thanks.
