1985 Suzuki GS

This auction is for a 1985 Suzuki GS550ES gets over 40 mpg. All legal lights work . part for speedometer on order. battery weak but works ASK ANYTHING YOU CONSIDER IMPORTANT NOW. THE BIKE IS AS IS. YOU CAN RIDE IT, I WILL HELP LOAD IT ON THE TRAILER, BUT I WILL NOT RENEGOTIATE FOR SOMETHING YOU DIDNT ASK. THIS IS THE NEGOTIATIONS RIGHT HERE. I was asked if this bike would make a long trip, so i brought it in and checked it over well. The alernator stator tested bad. I replaced it with a good used one from the spare parts. I would ride this bike anywhere. While it was apart i mounted the lower side panels with bolts. SO I rode this bike about 20 miles tonight. Its a powerful light, quiet nimble machine. it goes good, stops good. The stator repair solved a lot of issues. Its just too small for me. I ride a goldwing, so. to me this is like a bicycle with a huge engine. This bike will ride to california with ease. As much as i like it, i have to sell it. A bike exactly like this, in only marginally better shape sold for $3500 on here this spring. The reserve is far less then I have invested in it.
