NO SHIPPING NO MONEY ORDERS NO CASHIERS CHECKS NO SCAMERS 1995 Impala SS New paint- 9/09 Dark Cherry Met Paint Newer two tone upolstery-gray with black centers-looks stock but two tone-looks great New fuel pump and sending unit-gauge works right New MAF sensor New battery 10/5/10 New a/c compressor 6/11-its cold-new a/c hoses New interior swithes-all light switches and heater/AC controls New radiator, temp sensor and relays, temp gauge recently stopped working new oil cooler hoses Windows tinted LT1 350 replaced 9/09 year-runs great with around 100,000 miles New water pump, new distributor, new wires and plugs 9/09 Transmission rebuilt 10/09 with vette servo and heavier duty components New front and rear shocks-sensatrac All front steering parts were replaced and aligned 10/09 so front end is tight. Ball joints and CA bushings were tight and were not replaced. Hooker competition headers 1.6 roller tip rockers and new aluminum valve covers and fancy Impala chrome Cold air intake-simple and not real fancy Rear end replaced-I have the original rear end that I had rebuilt last year with 3.73 gears and all new bearings, seals, and axle. The axle tube was a little loose which caused some vibration so I just put another lower mileage rear end in. The rear end housing with the 3.73 can be repaired for 75.00 but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I did not like the 3.73 because it was to low for me. This rear end goes with the car. The new rear end has a stock 2.93 which is very close to the stock Impala 3.08 and i can't notice a difference. My plans were more geared to expressway travel than local hotrodding. It was quite zippy with the 3.73 gears. I do have an electronic shift improver that I was going to use with the 3.73 that would make it shift sooner and firmer. I don't need it with the 2.93 but goes with the car. Tires are Riken Raptors -Michelin makes Riken tires. One tire was replaced recently with a comparable Bridgestone with similar tread pattern. When the rear end was replaced, new stock springs and new shocks were put on. I also replaced the rear control arms with fully adjustable upper and lower control arms and moved the axle back about 3/4 inch so that the rear wheels are now centered in the wheel wells. You may have noticed that stock wheel position with stock control arms position the wheel forward and not centered in the wheel wells. New Control arms use pivoting Heim joints instead of the stock rubber bushings on stock arms. This eliminates wheel hop and deflection in rear suspension. I bought the car in 2009 and it needed a lot of work. The odometer did not work well-mileage showed mileage 15,000 up to 888,000 but constantly changed and was all over the place. The previous owner estimated that the car had 196,000 and that is what went on the title. I purchased another instrument cluster and it showed around 99,000 miles. I did a car fax on the car and it showed that the original owner from Ft. Thomas Ky had the car up to 175,000 miles and sold it a few years ago. I bought it from the second or third owner so I believe the miles were around 196,000. The car was running poorly whrn I bought it and the rear end pinion bearing was noisy. It did shift well though. I found a 95 car and drove it. It had 90,000 miles on it and ran great but transmission was shot. I purchased the drive train and had the transmission rebuilt at Pro Transmission in Erlanger in10/09. The engine and tranny was installed 10/09 . So as far as mileage on the vehicle goes, the car has over 200,000 miles but the engine and rear end has around 100,000 and the transmission is rebuilt in 2009. The body was not to bad so minor body work was done and new two stage stock color paint job was applied. Interior upolstery was replaced and looks great. The headliner is ok (NO SAGGING OR RIPS)but is repaired in one spot and could stand to be replaced. There is a place in Covington that will do it for arond 125-140. Brakes are in good shape. Exhaust is dual exhaust with crossover and flowmasters-sound good but not too loud. A/c works well. FOR THE PURISTS, I HAVE ALL PARTS TO PUT BACK TO STOCK PLUS EXTRA ENGINE PARTS , extra tranny, rearend.
