1972 Datsun240 Z The Factory Original Burnt Orange and "Classic Black vinyl" for all 240z cars, if thats true then this Interior it is evident a previous owner recovered these seats with cloth since i didn't buy it new and many people that have bought new say that all 240z cars came into the US as-is and offering no buyer options and no cloth options, so i've been informed they had a standard set of combinations and thats how they were sold! Currently this 240z has an after market heavy healthy great choice cloth material it has what sorta resembles the hounds tooth Pattern on both buckets center incerts the rest is All black vinyl interior, *Not shown here is Black Rear Cargo Floor Area As Carpeted, There are 3 panels all 3 are in very nice condition i removed them along with the factory round hard cover, and the spare tire to take a good photo of the cars floor and its condition as example, yes I removed them to take photo to show view of the integrity of the body and floors are solid throughout the car. Retains the 240 z Signature Teak Wood Steering Wheel also excellent, has Rack in Pinion Steering and Disc Brakes, and nicely matched with the Legendary Classic NISSAN 2400cc in-line 6 cylinder hense 240z with OHC, A PERFECT COMBINATION AND CERTAINLY BUILT AHEAD OF ITS TIME EVEN BY TODAY’S STANDARDS . These cars were cool then and still cool today, * Cloth Seats (not factory) *Rack in pinion steering *Front Wheel Disc Brakes *AM/FM CD Player * 4 speed * A/C (not working) *57k miles In Original Un-restored Condition with the exception of the (Centerline wheels, Sterio,and it's been Repainted) By a previous owner. *4 New Steel Belted Radials *Power Antenna (Not working) but its there possibly a wiring or fuse connection reason is unknown. *Rear Window Defoger *Hatch back *No broken or cracks in glass *Seats driver seat has One wear spot where you rub everytime your in and out is located left lumbar support of bucket small area. *Solid floor pans, Solid under carage, Solid inner fenders, Some bubbling in the paint in some isolated areas, Overall the car is in mechanically functional condition, it may need some minor reconditioning, The exterior paint, Trim,and interior shows normal wear , needing only minor reconditioning, it may also be a deteriated restoration or a very poor amateur restoration, i am no expert inor am i the original owner i can tell you the car is most usable "as-is" I'm using it as a daily driver by no means am i calling this a high end classic vehicle if your considering or want to determine the value of a daily driver, based on a scale of 1 to 3 and 3 being the very best this i would have to say this is a #1 at the low end of retail value based on condition usable yeah but needs adopted by a lover that can give it some tlc it certainly would clean up well just tinkering on detailing.oh i did took the front bumper off i dropped it off to be rechromed it will be included with the sale @ no extra charge i will re install if time allows otherwise i may just send it along inside the car it should look awesome.
