To a good home: The minivan that helped raise our family! Single owner Toyota Sienna seeking a new home for its senior years. This is a very comfortable 7 passenger minivan, with folding third row that is easily removed. We would still be driving it, but it needs a catalytic converter to pass inspection, and NYS requires a new catalytic converter which would cost $1220. The car has been in two minor fender benders over the past 11 years, but no major surgery! As you can see from the photos, there is rust on the front end of the hood which has rusted through, and some bubbles in one section just above the windshield. There are some minor issues; the sliding passenger side door has a broken latch on the outside, so it has to be opened from the inside. The lights on the dashboard are out, and the A/C has a slow leak - so it is no longer cooling, but I continue to turn it on periodically so it can run. There are a couple of door dings and a dent on the edge of the back roof. The interior is in pretty good shape, only tear just started on the driver seat, some stains on the floor carpet. I gambled on new brakes at 173,872 - replaced front brake pads & rotors, rear brake drums, wheel cylinders, machined drums, and oil/filter change. Mechanic noted that right front inner tied rod end is shot, front struts are very weak and rear shocks could also be replaced. New water pump and timing belt at 138,504. All maintenance records. Remote start works and is great for the cold winters in Rochester. The dashboard lights need replacing, you cannot see fuel/speedometer after dark. Belt squeals when car is started, and sometimes continues for a minute or two. Vehicle is very drive-able, no problem driving home if you can get temporary plates. Kelly Blue Book lists this 2000 Sienna LE as $3980 in "Fair" condition, probably not taking into account the need to replace the catalytic converter.
