Hi everyone, I am selling my 1978 chevy K20 pickup truck. It is set up with a meyer plow and runs well. I have owned it for two years and have used it for plowing and odd jobs around the house. I have towed 8,000lbs with it and driven distances of 120 miles. It will do 80-100 just fine on the highway. It has a 350 chevy motor and 4 speed manual transmission. It has 4 wheel drive with manual locking hubs. It is a very reliable truck. I no longer need it as I will be getting out of the plow business this year. It certainly has rust but does not feel weak. I am a big guy and none of the floorboards flex or anything when I get in or out. Will most likely need rocker panels and or cab mounts for inspection. Ready to plow right now on private property or if you don't mind driving uninspected(not recommended). I think it says around 58k? on the odometer. Not sure if this is accurate or if its been rolled over. I am selling as mileage unknown. The miles are exempt on the title. The Good * This truck is a runner- it has never left me stranded. * It pushes some serious snow- worked through all of last seasons snow falls. * Class III hitch * heavy duty suspension. *emissions exempt *new battery/ heavy duty alternator/ plow shield/ plow headlights *really hot heat- you can plow in your underwear:) The Bad * will need rust repair to pass inspection- It's 34 years old. * plow hydraulic pump seal leaks a little fluid. I just top it off each day I plow. Does not effect the operation of the plow. * minor power steering pump leak- again does not effect the operation of the power steering I just top it off every few weeks * the emergency brake needs a cable repaired * other minor things that come with a truck this age *is not eco- friendly!!! I think I covered everything. This truck will not win any beauty contests but it will make you money. It is probably the cheapest, most dependable plow truck you can find. I will deliver up to 30 miles free.
