CHECK MY FEEDBACK. I DON’T SELL OFTEN, BUT MY BUYERS ARE ALWAYS SATISFIED AND MY DESCRIPTIONS ARE ALWAYS AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE. I EVEN SOLD A YEAR OLD YAMAHA YZF-600 ON EBAY FOR WELL OVER $5,000 AND THE BUYER WAS VERY SATISFIED, TOO. BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!! I have a 2005 Suzuki GZ 250 for sale. The bike has 13,258 miles on it. It is in great mechanical condition. The engine has been completely rebuilt and I haven’t ridden it since (except to test it, I put about 20 miles on it). Since then I had some major health problems so I was spending time either in hospitals or at home healing. If you want this bike then don’t wait till spring, hoping that it wouldn’t sell and I would re-list it. I am selling it, because I go to Europe for 3 months on November 23rd and I could use extra cash, especially since I’ve been sick and haven’t worked for months. If I don’t sell it before I leave it, then I will not sell it when I come back in spring. Since I really need money I am making reserve very low. It’s only a few hundred dollars more than the $900.00 that I just spent to have the engine rebuilt. THE RESERVE IS WAAAAAYYY BELOWE THE BUY IT NOW PRICE. The engine had a factory defect and it cause it to seize at 13,235 miles. This was a major overhaul so the engine runs like a brand new one. It has a fully synthetic oil in it (Mobile 1). You will notice a California license plate in one of the pictures, but this bike is in Illinois, in a southern suburb of Chicago. I moved here from California a few months ago and had the bike shipped here. Unfortunately the transportation company didn’t take a good care of it and the bike suffered some scratches. I took some closes up pictures of the scratches. They are not major scratches; they could probably be repaired without painting using some good quality scratches repair kits. I am factoring the scratches into the price and making the reserve even lower. PLEASE NOTE: The picture of the tanks looks like if the tanks had millions of tinyt paint chips. This is not accurate. The paint on this bike is metallic black and the picture just came out like that. The bike has four tiny paint chips, I took the close up of the tank to point out the biggest one. This is an overall great bike, according to Suzuki.com these bikes get 82 miles per gallon. I guess this is highway, I normally rode it about 50/50 highway/city and I would get around 70 or even 75 MPGs. Some good reasons to buy this bike: Reserve really low. You can probably ride this bike for a few years and sell it probably for the same price. This bike will pay for itself within a season or two vs driving a car. If you live somewhere where there’s no snow and you can ride it in winter then definitely it will pay for itself within a year at most, no matter how efficient your car is. This you’lll get at least 70MPGs, what car can beat that? Very comfortable bike, even for tall people. I’m 6’2”, weigh 190 lbs and I am very comfortable on this bike. Rebuilt engine. It’s almost like buying a new bike. Great turning radius and easy to ride makes this bike a choice for passing a motorcycle exam if you don’t have a motorcycle license yet. Not so easy on big bikes. This bike is great if you need a first bike to learn to ride. Or…. even if you are an experienced ride. I had sport bikes in the past, I had one enduro bike, I had a motor cross bike and a whole bunch of observed trials bikes. I must say this is my favorite bike. Of course I can’t do motor cross on it but for street riding it’s extremely comfortable. Ok, I could go on with reasons forever but I think that’s enough for now.Never dropped, safe to ride.Look at pictures, the chrome is really nice and the scratches are almost invisible from a small distance. I took some extreme close up pictures so you could see the scratches but from a few feet away the bike looks really good. Please bid only if you are SERIOUS about buying this bike. If you would like this bike professionally painted so it looks brand new then I can have it done for you for an additional $220. That’s $220 even, no taxes, fees on top of that or other crap. This was an exact quote that I got from a professional car and motorcycle painter in my neighborhood. Now this is the price to repaint it to the original black color (all parts, front fender, tank, etc, all plastics that have the paint on it). If this is something that you would like then simply pay an extra $220 at the end of the auction. Otherwise pay exactly the auction price. SHIPPING OPTIONS 1. If you live far and need it shipped then shipping is your (BUYER’S) responsibility. Once you win the bike and pay for it, you will have to arrange for a shipping company and then call me with details to where to bring the bike. You will need to pay the shipping in advance or have it delivered as a COD but you will need to arrange for that. I don’t want to pick a shipping company for you as I have already used one when shipping it from California and they scratched it all over. 2. If you want to make a trip to Oak Lawn, IL then you can pick up the bike directly from me 3. If you live in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa or Indiana and don’t want to drive all the way Chicagoland to pick it up then we can work something out (meet half way, or I could ride it maybe even all the way to your place). You would have to cover my gas expense if you live more than 100 miles from me. However, I will not deliver the bike if you live more than 300 miles from Oak Lawn, IL. You maps.google.com to figure out how far you live from me. I will deliver the bike (ride it to you and have someone drive me back home) if you live within 100 Miles of Oak Lawn, Illinois free of charge if you don’t want to make the trip. In ALL ABOVE CASES you will need to make a payment first (unless you come over to my home to pick it up, then you can bring cash or a cashier’s check to me and then take the bike). Please email me with any questions. HAPPY BIDDING!!!
