I bought this vehicle from a lady who lives in Georgia. She owned the vehicle for 9 years and spent a great deal of money having it restored. She had always wanted one and got her wish. Unfortunately, financial hardships required her to sell the vehicle. I had been looking for a Challenger convertible for many years and could not find one in this condition. I personally, have 20 vehicles and have been collecting since I graduated from college in 1989. This is one of the best restorations I have ever owned. The car has a small block 318, automatic, and has a power top. The top functions as new. No expense was spared in restoration....the chrome, glass, paint, interior, and motor compartment all look fantastic. The red on red color combination is breath taking and gets attention everywhere I go! I put a brand new set of 15" rally rims and BFG TA radials on it. The car drives like a dream and has no issues whatsoever. I believe I still have the radio which I switched out for an updated one. The car is kept in my temperature controlled garage and shows beautifully. Although it has RT stripes, it is not an RT. Mileage unknown/exempt. Most say the 1970 model is the best year ever for the Dodge Challenger and I certainly agree. The trunk and floors are all extremely solid and the car is very straight.
