I bought this van in the early 90s and spent over 3,500 on a full engine rebuild that included every component either rebuilt or replaced all the work was done by a local mechanic and a very well respected machine shop, I have tried to find the stack of receipts but am having no luck . I know I know same ol story but its as true as my feedback. it also had a new radiator , clutch and front end parts installed, a lot of things i probably wont remember. The plan was to semi restore it but life had other plans and it got sidelined with less than 3,000 miles on the rebuild . i have kept it in anti freeze and started it and let it run periodically it runs very strong. As you can see there is a carb on it that dosent go w/ the original air cleaner but the carb and air cleaner that go together are there carb needs rebuild i think. The brakes are working and have been bled recently but it hasnt been on the road in a long time , The main problems i know of w/ the van are the paint it has some surface rust here and there some little bubbles under the paint that are surface ,I showed the worst dents in the pics and the spot that is rusted overall i was told by a friend that restores vintages cars its a very solid specimen, the brake lights have a short that makes them stay on i think that is something to do w/ a spring on the brake pedal ? Handle on side doors needs replaced 'it is off" im sure there are plenty of little things to be tweaked " just trying to be more than honest here" the tire and rims on it hold air well and i have the stock chevy rims but the tires arent great one is no good, If you have any questions please ask and ill try to answer them im however im not a mechanic , I hope somebody wants to finish this cool old van . a couple other things its not registered and it will sold as is w/ no guarantee that you could drive it wherever it needs to go, i used to drive it all over the rouge valley but that was years ago" Again just trying to be honest" Thanks for looking Alan..... 10-7-11 Update , Ok ive had a few questions and i tried to do a more thorough assesment of the van , I took it out on the road for the first time in over ten years. brakes pulled but as i used them more they got better, speedomoter works but i dont know if its accurate, The heater and defrost work very well, gas gauge dosent , reverse lights do not work, dieseled on me a couple times when i shut it off. also i noticed around the window where the rubber seal is there is a couple small nail head size holes where it ate through, this is just above the window spray washer ,other than that all around the window looks to be surface rust here and there nothing deep. i dont know what else to tell you except w/ an old van like this expect the unexpected...Thanks again Alan
