Vehicle Detail
Hello, you are bidding on a 2000 BMW 323i, four-door sedan, charcoal gray with gray interior, with at the time of this writing has 138,371 miles. This car runs great, but recently had some moderate hail damage and has a couple of other body issues, and I'm getting a new car. I drove the car today all through town, in fact (until today, it was still my only vehicle). I have owned the car since 2004 and had it meticulously maintained. I never had any serious engine trouble or any other problems besides routine maintenance - and have all the papers to prove it. The car has a scraped front end on the driver side, right above the tire. This was a regrettable recent damage to the car, but does not affect the driving or performance. There is a piece of side moulding, driver side rear door, missing. There is a small hole on the driver's side door, from a piece of metal that pierced it after driving over it. There are some parking-lot dings to the passenger side door. There is some moderate wear of the interior, a couple of stains on the carpeting and normal wear on the seats. The right turn signal light also is out, a minor fix. With some moderate repair/body work, the winner of this car - at a very low reserve - could get a nice looking BMW again that, with proper maintenance, could give a few more good years of driving. BMWs with 200-300K miles are not uncommon. This is not a pristine car, but it runs well and the reserve is low. This would have been the kind of car I'd have looked for as a high school/college student, hoping to impress and enjoy getting around with a premium brand name, but at a very low price.
