1966 Mercedes 250 SE Coupe. This Coupe was driven into a garage, covered and parked 10+ years ago. This Mercedes will require some restoration but is a good example of German ingenuity and a real solid candidate for restoration as most everything is original and in place. Fuel injected 6 Cylinder and Power Disc brakes are just some of the highlights of this SE Coupe. All of the interior dash woodwork was removed and has been professionally refinished (its beautiful) the sale will include the paid receipt for $2400 for this fine workmanship. All of these wood trim pieces will come carefully wrapped individually inside the car. Both front fenders have been replaced and are in primer, they will need some minor body work and paint to finish. The car spent some time in San Francisco and does have a few rusty areas but most are surface and pretty minor, the floorpan's and trunk are in nearly perfect condition. The front seats were sent out for reupholstery 10 years ago and never picked up so these will need to be replaced by the new owner, the backseat is included and will require recovering. All the stainless exterior trims and moldings that are not shown in the pictures are included with the sale and will arrive packaged inside the car. The bumpers are solid but will require some straightening and rechrome work. Both complete headlight assemblies are included with the sale and are in a box in the trunk. Original spare and jack is in place along with the Mercedes hub caps and beauty rings. The car is non oped with clean (no salvage) California paperwork. This fine automobile is sold as is where is with no warranty.
