The 1.5L engine starts at the touch of the key & comes to a perfect idle, with no smoke from the tail pipe or oil leaks, an indication that it was well cared for. The transmission shifts on point with no slips, or shuddering through all the gears. I was very surprised how comfortable & responsive this Civic was to drive, for a 4 cyl. while still getting 32 to 38 mpg's. It handles nicely around turns, and it is not at all a bumpy ride. You'll enjoy the benefits of good gas mileage and a smooth ride with this 1.5L engine. This Honds Civic is not a show car or flawless, but it is far cleaner then others of it's vintage. The most important thing with these Honda Civics is the rust on the front fram & the under carrage, there is none, Check out the pics.The paint shines nicely with only very miner imperfections such as parking lot dings on the doors .
