1970 Bucik Lesabre Sport Custom four door hardtop, HISTORY: Built at the Wilmington DE plant March 13, 1970. This Buick shows 16000 original miles, and is all original except for a repaint. The original owner purchased this Buick in 1970 at Jennings Buick Inc of Cincinnati, OH. The owners' family put the Buick in storage after the death of the owner, in 1980 with the milage at 11.616. The original 1980-81 Ohio inspection sticker remains on the windshield, indicating when the Buick was last on the road. The Buick was then taken out of storage in 2009 and sold to the second owner, in Cincinnati, who repainted and refurbished the Buick. It was then sold to a vintage car dealership in Cincinnati in 2010 from whom I purchased the Buick. I spoke with the second ower who assured me the milage was original, according to the original owners' family. I have the invoice for the work done to the Buick by the second owner verifying the milage and work. I was not able to locate or contact the original owners' family. I had two car professionals examine this Buick and they believe it to be the actual milage. The Buick comes with the original build sheet, protect-o-plate, owners manual and car cover. This hardtop is one of 43,863 built n 1970. ENGINE: This vehicle is equipped with the original 350 CID, V8 cylinder engine, 260 horsepower, 9.0 to 1 compression ratio, 2 bbl Rochester carburetor. The engine was given a complete tune-up, along with the carburetor being rebuilt to factory standard, in June 2011. The engine does not leak or burn oil, and idles smoothly and quietly. All hoses, gaskets (valve cover and intake), belts and rubber componets were replaced in 2010 after removal from storage. The exhaust appears to be original. This Buick drives smoothly and effortlessly, and looks almost "show room condition". TRANSMISSION: The original three speed Turbo Hydra-matic automatic drivetrain runs and shifts effortlessly. Serviced in 2010 POWER OPTIONS: This Buick is complete with Air conditioning, power brakes, power steering and remote sideview mirror. All options are in good working condition. A/C was recharged in 2010 and blows cold. The brake lines and master cylinder were relpaced in 2010 and upgraded again 2011 TIRES/RIMS: Brand new 15 inch Cooper Trendsetter SE tires were installed in June 2011 . Buick five-spoke, chrome rallye rims are in beautiful condition with no issues. BODY: This Buick was repainted in the original Silver Mist color(paint code 14B on cowl tag an build sheet) in 2010, and it is a high quality repaint. There are no rust or bondo issues present, the body being straight and solid. All chrome and trims parts are in excellant condition. The vinly top is in excellant condition, however at the rear right corner, below the window channel there appears to be a small area of either rust or water damage under the vinly. NOTE: The front grille emblem is not original to the buick, it is a Buick shield from an early model buick. The original tri-shield emblem was missing, and difficult to locate, replace and the cost of a few i found, in poor condition, were too much money. INTERIOR: The interior is original and unrestored. Black vinly seating and full carpeting complete the interior. The carpet and door panels do not show any excessive wear. The vinly is intact with no rips, tears, splits or fading. The instrument panel is complete and damage free. The rear package shelf and headliner are in fine condition with no cracks or fading. The interior's condition indicates the original low milage. All seat belts are in place and functional. However, the radio does not work at this time. The antenna is located in the front windshield. TRUNK: The trunk compartment is in great condition with no indications of rust or leaks. The trunk mat is original. There is a new and complete jack assembly for the Buick which is in place. SUSPENSION: front independant ball joints with rear coil springs that wer replaced new in June 2011. Questions: Please contact me concerning any questions and i will be happy to answer them.
