With a 233" wheelbase (if my math is right, that's pretty near twenty feet of American engineering), it is a car that always impresses me with its overall feel of quiet luxury and smooth ride. The big 460 cu. in. powerplant provides effortless acceleration and a highway ride that might tempt some to throw caution to the wind, call into work and just head out on a cross-country roadtrip. But this Town Coupe would also be a great treat for a dinner out or a very classy way to get to church on Sunday. It is mechanically sound and there are only a few things to could be fixed if someone had a mind to. To me, they weren't ever a big deal, so I just enjoyed it as is. The gas gauge and shift indicator aren't working and the cruise control arm on the steering column could be replaced. Also the A/C isn't working. But again, these things never lessened my enjoyment in driving my Town Coupe and I think anyone looking for a big American car with a spectacular ride will find this car a joy to own and drive.
