Selling my Ford E-350 Ambulance. I picked up this truck about 4 years ago to use as an RV / tow rig to pull my race car. I have since invested a lot of money into this truck and it has been a great addition to our race team. Pulls my 14 foot aluminum trailer without problem and has been an absolute blast to own. Very sad to let it go but I am in the market for a new RV. The back was totally cleaned out and renovated a few years ago; new upholstered rear bench seat and trim, fresh interior paint, new floor, etc. 4 rear tires are in good shape, could use new fronts. I have had a lot of mechanical work done on this truck over the years including a new transmission, new brake booster, new master cylinder, new parking brake, new batteries, new steering column bushings, new speakers, and more. Everything on this thing is heavy duty. It has TONS of interior and exterior storage with locking latches, great for tools or whatever else you have to put in there. Truck is wired for trailer and has brake controller. This ambulance has WORKING LIGHTS, WORKING SIRENS, AND WORKING PA SYSTEM! The lights on this thing are great.. there are floods on all sides plus all the wigwag, strobe, emergency lights etc. The blue and red films have been removed or painted over for legality but everything including sirens and PA system work great! (off road use only of course) Ambulance plugs in like an RV and all of the stuff in the back (microwave, TV, fridge) can be used all night and your batteries get charged as well. I installed a Pioneer head unit (mp3 /ipod compatible) as well as a power inverter so all the stuff in the back works while the vehicle is plugged in or while the engine is running! Sale includes all of the stuff in the back plus accessories (TV, Fridge, microwave, electrical hookups/surge protectors, inverter, head unit, brake controller, etc.) Except the stereo (need to return that to a friend :). Cons: Yes this vehicle has a salvage title. I purchased it as a salvage and have no regrets. It has 80,000 miles on in but I have always assumed this to be 180,000 as odo only goes to 99,999. The box is in great shape but there is some rust on the truck chassis especially at the base of the doors/running boards. The fuel gauge does not read and the AC needs a recharge. Finally, I have just found a drip from the power steering box and it needs some seals replaced. Steering works now with topping off the reservoir but this should be addressed before taking it on a long trip. This is a great opportunity to pickup an incredibly unique and fun vehicle for dirt cheap! I would love to keep it but there is no room with the new RV coming. Honestly all of the cool gadgets and stuff on this alone are worth the price!
