Ok,up for sale is a 1 owner 2001 wranlger 4 cyl,air conditioning(with brand new compressor)anti-lock brakes,sound bar,good tires and brakes.Let me start off by saying that the hardtop and full steel doors DO NOT COME WITH THE JEEP!!! I GOT THIS JEEP SPECIFICALLY for the top and doors so they are NOT included in the sale.This jeep has 240k on it and it has motor issues.It was female owned and I was told it over heated and a mechanic said it had a cracked head.It will start and run sometimes and sometimes it wont.It runs real rough and IMO it will need a motor.I did check the oil to see if it had water in it and it does NOT.The last owner told me she had the transmission and transfer case rebuilt at around 150,000 miles so both of them currently have approximatly 90k on them.The jeep has no body rust but does have a spot of frame rust that needs repaired(see pic).Im selling this as is and it should be purchased knowing that it needs motor work or a replacement motor.It will need to be towed for sure.The back seat is also gone BTW. On Sep-20-11 at 14:47:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: The jeep started for me today,I let it run for about 1 min and the oil pressure was great at about 50psi.There are no bearing noises,piston slap or exhaust leaks.It does act like it has no power but this motor might be fixable but at 240k another motor might be better unless this can be fixed for cheap.
