1965 CHEVROLET IMPALA, SUPER SPORT, 4 SPEED, 327, CLASSIC, FACTORY AIR, VINTAGE, SS HOT ROD Well I'm sure no expert on classic's , but I ended up with this car from a friend who has owned it for 25 years. This is what I call a "Barn Fresh find". It has been sitting idle for the last 10 years or so in his car port. First I will list the minuses as I see them. To restore this car it will need quarters. (I have a nice pair of stock fenders for the Front). This car was running and driving when last parked. He said the clutch would slip and he was going to replace the master cylinder. I have the new M/C in the trunk...(not installed). He never did replace the clutch . This car is just as I received it. With the exception of 1 spot in the driver side floor, the floors are excellent. The trunk is excellent also. This car could be up and running again in very short order, or it could be completely restored. The car is 47 years old...it's very dirty, and being sold as-is. I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in any way.... Now all that having been said, I will list the pluses. This is an original super sport SS 327 V-8 car, and has all the factory SS badging. It has a factory 4 speed, factory air and a 3:73 poi-trac rear end, and is a factory 12 bolt. It has a consoul, and a factory in dash tachometer. This car paint code is evening orchid (P-6) The interior is Ivory.Although the compressor is missing. all the other factory a/c equipment looks intact. There are some spare parts in the trunk. This car has all the ordinal SS hubcaps as well. The original engine was re-built 12 years ago, but has very few miles on it. (it's an "870" casting). It is a duel exhaust/ power pack car. This car has bucket seats My opening bid is $3,700.00 with no reserve. I honestly can't imagine finding a nicer factory a/c 4 speed SS car for the price. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
