I acquired this one from a local Z shop owner who got it from the original owner who fell ill while the car was in the shop and never picked it up. It has been meticulously maintained and re-freshed through the years. It looks, runs, and drives excellent. The body is super straight and completely rust free. It had a quality respray of the original metallic brown color and the paint has held up well with only minor niks and scratches. Brown is totally back in fashion now with all the big makers (Porsche, Aston, Bentley, etc. all offering brown now... :) The front bumper has a small dent on the tip and the rear has some pitting. Nice original slotted rims with great tires. This Z looks great! Interior is in excellent shape as well. Seats were nicely redone with cloth inserts carpet, panels, headliner, etc are all great. dash has full cover. All gauges work except the clock of course. Has a nice sony cd, mp3 deck. Runs and drives fantastic... starts right up and idles beautifully. Revs and pulls fantastic. Shifts smooth through the gears. Drives down the road straight with no pulls, shimmies, or shakes... 90 mph easy cruising. Brakes are strong straight and true. Handles as a Z car should. Overall this is a really nice driver quality Z... weekend show car, cruiser, or daily driver. I am a Z collector and have owned many Z cars. 72 is the most desirable year for 240's... Rust free is almost impossible to find, California cars in this condition are rare and collectable. This is a great one. The car is located in Beverly Hills... Inspections are welcome and encouraged... serious buyers can call me at 310 850 8980 but no tire kickers please. I'm open to interesting trades but no projects or junk please. IMPORTANT: The shop owner took ownership through a California mechanics lean, which is complete. He did not apply for a title. I have all the paper work and will get a California free and clear title. However it may take up to six weeks to get the actual title, depending on DMV. I will give copies of all related paperwork, a bill of sale, and will guarantee clear title to the new buyer.
