Vehicle Detail

Hello, this 1959 wagon is a great driver. I don't even know where to start. This car is solid and goes down the highway straight as an arrow. I guess the best way to describe the 59 is to list the things that have been done to it. 1. cleaned out radiator 2.overhauled 283 (stock) 3.electronic ignition 4.new spark plug wires 5.new starter 6.rebuilt 700r4 (yes 700r4) 7.4 wheel disc brakes ( yes 4 wheel disc-brakes) 8.4 new tires 9.all new rubber body mounts have been installed 10. all new rubber suspension bushings have been installed 11.paint is fairly new BUT it is not a 'high-dollar' paint job 12.new windshield with new rubber gasket 13.cleaned out gas tank 14.new battery and battery cables 15.new exhaust including mufflers I'm sure there might be some other things that I haven't mentioned. All the windows are in great shape, no cracks. The electric rear window goes up and down properly. All electrical works including gas gauge and wipers. Even the red high-beam light comes on in the dash. As you can see in the pictures , it has the front bumper guard, rear bumper steps and those chrome-visors that go by the rear window (I don't know what they are called). This car runs and drives beautifully especially with the 700 transmission (o/d). The car is perfectly happy going down the freeway at 85 mph with low 'rpms'. The car fires right up each and everytime you turn it on. The only thing that I can think of is the driver side floor-board is a bit rusty but If it was me , I would just get a sander and sand-down the surface rust and be done with it. The rest of the floor-boards are strong and solid. The floor-boards under the front and rear seats are strong and solid. Even the spare-tire compartment is strong and solid. I know I put in only 2 pictures of the floor-boards but I assure you (with the exception of the driver-side floor board) all of the floor-boards are strong and solid - no disappointments! The original upholstery is torn (thats why seat covers were installed) but original foam and cotton on the seats is still good and reusable. In a couple of the pictures you can see the original headliner still intact. I cannot say enough about this car, it runs great and I would feel comfortable driving it anywhere. The 59 has been sitting in my garage and I think someone should enjoy this car and drive it on a daily basis ( this is not a trailer queen ). These are not big and fancy pictures, I just have a simple camera but if you were to see this car up-close I'm sure you would be totally happy with it ( no disappointments - based on what I have described). All the work has been done already, all you need to do is get in and drive. An immediate $500.00 deposit is required (pay-pal). email or call me if you have any questions (915) 401-0859 (If i don't answer, leave a message) Actually I would feel better if you would call me that way I know that I'm speaking to a serious bidder. I will assist in any which way I can to help you transport the car. Transportation arrangements have to be made by the buyer. I almost forgot, last but definitely not least, this car has the original posi-traction, YES ORIGINAL POSI-TRACTION and it works great. Also, some people might say " the upholstery needs to be redone", .... well to be quite honest, the upholstery (seat covers) never bothered me . The car still runs fantastic with seat covers! This car does not have the fancy chrome engine and it does not have the fancy wheels but its good and reliable transportation. This car will 'stop on a dime' due to the 4 wheel disc brakes. Folks, you cannot go wrong with this car, it is really a great daily driver (the way it was meant to be)! Thank you
