Purchased in 2008. Clean AutoCheck. The previous owner traded at the Lexus dealer in Winston Salem, NC. Just over 5,000 produced in 1989, very few remain in this condition. Truck is stock with the exception of shocks, springs, and new radio with MP3 option. Keyless remote was also installed. Original engine and transmission, never re-built or replaced. Brakes are in good working condition and inspected last oil change with about 60% left on the pads. 4WD works perfectly. AC blows cold. Power windows and locks all in working order. Interior is in very good condition. Carpet was replaced with a vinyl Aussie liner, much better than the original carpet. However, all the original carpet is available as well as the original stock radio. Headliner is good, dash is good.....no cracks. Original center console is in good working order and the rear heater and switch both operate as they should. Paint is the original factory grey color. This land cruiser was been painted at some point prior to my purchase. A few very minor dings, dents, and scratches. Overall the paint and body are in good condition for a 22 year old vehicle. Any rust is on the underside on the frame/exhaust and is surface rust only, the body is rust free with the exception of the rear tailgate. The rust in the tailgate area is under the paint in a tiny section just along the glass and has not come through......very minor. The suspension components were ordered through a certified ARB USA dealer and installed professionally last summer. Once the work on the suspension was complete I purchased 5 new BFG 33 x 10.5 x 15 AT KO tires and had them installed by Discount Tire. Original rims have been professionally re-chromed and look like new. Trucks has seen about 2,000 miles since installation of new tires. All maintenance performed and documented with receipts by the local Toyota dealer in Greensboro, NC. The owner of this Toyota dealership understands the passion of the land cruiser community as he owns a couple of older models himself. All routine maintenance has been completed and the truck runs like a top. No leaks, everything works. You are welcome to have it inspected or call the dealer if the receipts don't give you piece of mind. I have invested thousands of dollars in service and parts to bring the truck up to its current standard. I made an effort to keep the truck as original as possible and it has always been garage kept.
