Vehicle Detail

1969 300SEL 6.3 VIN #109.018.12.001087. Used to be black before the rust took over. This car is extremely rusted. The hood started to bend in half after taking pictures of the engine. I had a lot of interest in this because of the parts. Dad stated the motor in it had been gone over and was extremely strong and fast(years ago). He bought it to put the engine in the silver 6.3 I sold already because it's engine was in pieces. He never got around to making the two into one. I remember riding in this as a kid and dad racing every young kid he pulled up next to. He never lost. This car has a clean clear title. It's old but he has it. I believe dad has owned this since the 80's. This car has sat for more than a decade. The windshield is broken, radio is missing, climate control levers have turned to dust. I could not access the trunk because of the locks not working and the one key he has wouldn't open it. The shifter will not move into neutral. Leather seats have multiple cracks. I am selling this for parts only and mainly demand for the engine, rear end, and whatever else may suit you. If I had the time and money I would keep the enging for myself. Please ask as many questions as you need to, I will answer to the best of my ability. Deposit in 24 hours AND final payment in seven days! I WILL NOT SHIP IT ANYWHERE. THIS IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. The gentleman who bought the other 6.3 paid extra to have a tow company come in, pick it up, and then take it to their tow yard so his transport company could get the car. As rusty as this car is, it may not survive a lot of moving and shuffling. If you have a Chase bank account I would rather the item be paid through Chase’s online banking. They don’t charge a fee or percentage for this compared to PayPal taking something off every transaction. Please contact me if you have any questions about this. I need suggestions on how to sell and ship a lot of sheet metal. The price to ship may out weigh the value of the part. Also suggestions on bumpers from complete 600 to AMG. Thank you for your help in this matter. Would love to sell them only if it is worth it. Watch for more parts and cars to be listed. Please email if you have any questions. No side deals. If you have the money to wheel and deal you have the money to bid on it. NO RETURNS. I selling a storage building full of MB parts from the 50’s to the present. I am not an expert on all the parts I am listing. Do to a current problem with buyer, I am making this crystal clear. If the picture and the part number (when provided) don’t match my description then bid at your own discretion. I will NOT take it back. I am not trying to start or run a business but liquidate my dad’s collection for him.
