This is a nice, older restoration, 1966 chrome bumper MGB in very good condition. The interior seat covers, interior panels and carpet are in very good condition and shows little wear. The mechanicals, electricals, and hydraulics are in good working order. There are no strange noises from the engine or transmission. Oil pressure is 55#. Tires are near new and the wire wheels run true. All gauges work and the metal dash has a nice finish. The four speed transmission shifts smoothly. The floors, trunk floors and rockers are solid and there is no rust issues. This is a nice daily driver. The paint is presentable but could use a paint job. The top is in good condition without tears and the windows are clear. Paint has been prepped at the top of the fender seams front and rear. Ther are a few blems that need attention before painting. No body work needed. This a very nice daily driver sports car that you will be proud to own! Car is available for local inspection and test drives prior to auction close. This car is a must see! On Sep-13-11 at 18:42:48 PDT, seller added the following information: To clarify the paint prep question regarding the fender seams. The top seam of the rear and front fenders (seam/bead) was not properly sealed when last painted several years ago. There was some minor blistering of the paint along the seams. I sanded the area to bare metal, sand blasted the minor pitting, etched the bare metal, primed and painted with lacquer paint. The area was then rubbed out but there is a color difference between the two blacks and is not that noticeable. I have tried taking pictures of the touch up area but it doesn't show up. The touched up paint in this area will blend into the existing paint when sanded and no further prep is needed at the seams. In addition, the chrome bumpers and grille are in like new condition. The fuel pump and generator are new.
