1983 Delorean – I have owned this 5-speed standard transmission Delorean since 1986, vin#16111 with 28,422 miles. In 2005 I decided to renew it and performed extensive upgrades. Unfortunately in 2007 I contracted a neurological decease resulting in my inability to walk. My decease means I will no long be able to drive and forces me to put my beloved Delorean up for sale. This is a great opportunity for the next owner. The following is a partial list of what has been done: ENGINE New not reconditioned and has 1044 miles since installed by Delorean of Southern Cal, New motor mounts, hoses and belts. New catalytic converter and oil sender CLUTCH New, clutch, master & slave cyclinders, flywheel surfaced COOLING New radiator and all A/C hoses and stainless steel coolant tank and A/C condenser DOORS Adjust both right and left tork rods and new struts ELECTRICAL Relay up-date kit and fuse holder INTERIOR New seats, headliners, binnacle, A pillars, hood release cable, gas struts including hood and engine compartment CHASSIS All new brakes including e/brake and stainless steel lines. Stainless steel underside shields. Replace trailing arm forward bushings, shims and thru bolt. New hub bearings. New shocks, springs to lower car slightly creating the perfect stance. Four wheel alignment. TIRES New Michelin front, original rear BODY The front and rear fascia are reconditioned, painted and clear coated. No body dings or dents. The car is State Inspected and licensed for 2010-11. Please e-mail with any Questions. A $1,000.00 Deposit payable by certified bank funds or wire transfer within 72 hours of auction end is required. Balance due is required within 10 days of auction end, I accept certified bank funds or wire transfer. Car will be released only after final payment is received and cleared.
