Up for sale is my 1999 Ford E350 Chateau Club Wagon. The van is equipped with the legendary 7.3 POWERSTROKE diesel engine AND the QUIGLEY 4wheel drive package. This is one of two Chateau vans that were built with these exact specifications in 1999. The original owners purchased the van brand new at Earnhardt Ford Arizona in April of 1999. It was built to order as this is not something most Ford dealers will keep in their inventory. The van has lived in the Southwest its entire life. I purchased it in November 2008 from the second owner who lived in Tucson, AZ. It is currently garage kept in my weekend home at Elephant Butte Lake New Mexico, about an hour and a half north of El Paso, TX and two hours south of Albuquerque. The van has been meticulously maintained from new. All routine services have been performed, and no expense spared – if it needed it, it got it, always at the Ford dealer. It has 149,000 original miles on it currently and I believe this is the cleanest Quigley Van you will find period. The engine bay is spotless, as is the undercarriage. Everything is in full working order. The 4WD, in high and low works perfectly and has never given me any trouble. The van is equipped with manual locking hubs. Two new AutoZone Duralast gold batteries were installed in February 2011. It is also equipped with front and rear A/C, all power options, cruise control, and everything you could ever want or need, including a newer AM/FM/XM/CD/Navigation system with rear view camera and BLUETOOTH phone connection as well as an alarm system with remote start. It is fitted with new GOODYEAR WRANGLER SILENTARMOR all terrain tires. These are by far the best all terrain tires money can buy, I paid almost $1400.00 for them. They are made with KEVLAR and carry a 50,000 mile tread life warranty. The exterior paint is original and shines like new with no fading. The paint is clean and smooth. There are a few very small dings consistent with the age of the vehicle, but no major dents or scratches. The van is also equipped with fender flares all the way around. There are some paint chips on the flares, which is what they are designed to do. The interior is in very good condition with no rips or stains on the upholstery or carpets. No smoking or pets in the interior. As far as the capability is concerned, the FORD E Series Vans like this are far and away the best 4WD vehicle I have ever owned, with the exception of my FORD Raptor. The weight balance in the Van is much better than that of a SUPERDUTY pickup. I have used this mainly for use on the beach and in some very deep sugar sand. It has never left me stuck. This is a wonderful vehicle if you need to move 8 people in comfort in any driving condition. It is capable of towing about 10,000 pounds if needed. The reason I am selling is to reduce some of my vehicles I have way too many. I am not interested in any trades, and please no low ball offers. I want to sell this for what I believe it’s’ worth. I am not by any means desperate. I would rather keep it than sell it, so I won’t at all be tempted at a low ball offer. Please don’t waste my time or yours.
