Up for grabs is my 1999 Saab 9-3 SE convertible. exterior looks nice with the small exception of a dime size rust spot on the trunk. The interior is really clean also. This was my fathers car which he used to commute to CT an hour away and all highway. Car sat for 5 months before he gave me the car so i could go back and forth to work and school. The car mechanically runs awesome. Boosts hard and pulls hard. Car does not leak ANY oil, not even from the Turbo. I just in the past month replaced 2 boost pipes along with front pads. I also replaced all the Power steering lines from the pump to the cooler to the rack and pinion and the known gasket the blows out at the firewall on the driver side. Just did an oil change a couple hundred miles ago also. The transmission shifts nice through the gears with the exception of downshifting from third to second. To bypass that issue you just go partial into 1st and then into second and its fine. I had my mechanic look at it and said that the syncros on the downshift are starting to wear. Other than that the front rotors could use replacement due to a brake vibration from sitting. As for mechanical thats it. On the inside the MPG display is starting to distort. The Leather is super clean with no rips or tears just some age cracks which is normal. Convertible top works perfect up and down also. Ive noticed recently that the heat only works on speed 4. Mechanic told me is was the blower resistor that needed replacement. Car is booked for $4695 with that milage. My reserve is less than the trade in value. Letting the car go cheap knowing its not 100% perfect. Great beginner car or a simple commuter.
