1979 Jeep Cherokee Project in storage must go due to moving out of state. Started the project but was unable to complete. It is DEFINITELY A PROJECT JEEP!!!!!! Its originally from Colorado and was built for rock crawling. Has a 304 ci motor, with almost 12000 miles on it. Dana 44's front and rear. Rear axle spider gears were shattered but have a new set that will need to go in. Rear drive shaft is off because of this and will need new u-joints and probably balanced. Interior is fair but again it was built as a trail rig. Gauges are there but you may decide to change the dash assembly. Front drive shaft is how its being moved around currently T-18 tranny with 6:32 granny gear, Dana 20 transfer case. 6" lift with 36x12.50x15 TSL radial tires (worth $700.00 by themselves), tread still good. Gas tank was taken out, Started to install a fuel cell however never got the chance to weld/install and plumb, however its in place. It does run, drove it on a trailer to get it to the storage, needs a new battery as well. Definitely gonna need some work to road quality but for the trail not too much. The entire back has been cut away floor and all to the frame due to rust, so its just a front clip with two seats. WAY too much time and money into although it doesnt look like it, but have to get rid of it. Willing to part out if you pull the parts, the drivetrain and motor are worth more than 1000.00 it will be cheaper to just haul it and take what you want.
