Vehicle Detail
1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback A CODE 2 nd owner. Matching Numbers V8 4 BBL. Rare Stock Dual Exhaust (upgraded) Rare Stock Front Disc Brakes. 4 spd. Manual with Hurst shifter. ORIGINAL COLOR RAVEN BLACK. This car was built in San Jose in Jan 1965. It has remained a California Car. AFTERMARKET: Hurst Shifter, COBRA RPM Gauge (mounted on steering Column), Crager GT Mags installed 1967, Shelby type working side scoops, Shelby Type Hood Scoop, Crome Hood Pins, Retracting antenae, HOLLY 650 Carburator, Crome Valve Covers, Crome Air Filter Cover, Crome Engine Stabilizer Bar, Crome Tail Pipes, 393 Radiator. This 65 Stang was bought by my father in 1969 after his return from Vietnam. I have been in possesion of the car to store it for the last 18 years. The first 2 of which I drove it less than 5K miles....just cant help drive a car like this for a while...the Last 15 years the car has been covered and garaged and had less than 100 miles put on it, simply to keep everything working. The Exterior paint was redone when I took the car 18 years ago, and added were the Shelby Scoops and Hood Pins. The interior is in good shape, the rear seats are in perfect condition, and the front have had sheep skin covers for the last 30 years, however the driver seat does have seam splitting in 3 spots (view photo). The original headliner has one small rip about 2 in right above the driver side window. The dash lights dont work (I dont know why), and the driver side windshield wiper doesnt work or the passenger side outside handle. It does have a a couple small rust spots in the typical Mustang spots front corners of each door the passenger side is in the picture the driver side is a mere small bump less than an half inch. Also 2 small spots at the bottom of the rear window less than size of a thumbnail. This Mustang still runs very well and has all the right things right with it. It just needs someone with a bit of time and some TLC to make it an incredible car again.
