Up for auction is my Mercury Cougar XR-7. It is all original and complete. I have intended to restore it but have not had the time. It has a new gas tank and a new carpet [not installed] I am in Dallas and the car is in Bossier City at my rent house; I have limited access to more photo's. The floor is not rusted but there are a few spots in the typical places, mainly the lower quarters. I expect this car to be worth alot of money someday especially if you take your time, do the easy restoration well, and by the time you finish the economy will be better and car values will be higher. The car is equipped with a 351 Cleveland and FMX transmission. The winning bidder will also get the chrome valve covers and oil pan that I bought. It presently has '1999-2004 Mustang starfish wheels with spacers on the fronts because of the deep-dish-ness of said wheels. I also have some other new gaskets and other stuff, a new timing set, can't remember what all. Happy bidding. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. On Sep-02-11 at 10:20:42 PDT, seller added the following information: The VIN is 1F93H520415 I tried to enter it into the form when I did the auction and it said invalid entry so I can't explain that. I don't have access to the door panel as it is in Louisiana and I am in Dallas. The winning bidder and I will make arrangements to go get it. It will start and run if a battery is placed in it but the NEW RADIATOR is not hooked up as I was getting ready to ahcnge the heater core which I also have. The car sat for a very long time. It isn't a car you can hop in and drive. It is a restoration project. Thanks.
