Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a rare #s matching 1976 Pontiac Trans Am with a 455 and a 4 speed trans. 1976 was the last year for the mighty 455!!! Car is orignally black with black interior Engine: Car has the original #s matching 455 V8 casting # 485428 and code of WX with the 6H heads. Engine runs FANTASTIC!!!!!! reach in, tun the key and she fires right up! Engie is quiet with no knocking or tapping. At idle makes 50lbs of oil pressure. Engine has an edelbrock intake, holley 750 carb and hooker headders. Originally an A/C car, the compressor has been removed, but that is all, nothing has been cut or butchered. Trans: factory 4speed super t-10 trans Rear: factory 3.23 posi traction 10 bolt. Suspension: rear suspension is all newer. New rear springs, bushings, and shocks. The front suspension is good as well, good springs, shocks. Car sits nice and does not sag. Interior: Black standard interior. Roll up windows, full factory trans am gauges, Grant GT steering wheel. Seats are in ok condition. The rear seat is in great shape and the drivers seat is in good shape. The passanger seat has a few splits at the seams. All gauges work great!! Dash has some cracks in it. Carpet and headliner could use replacing. Interior is complete and together. Body: Overall car is relatively solid. The rear pan behind the tail lights is perfect! Floors are solid. trunk floor has one little spot where some rot has started (see pics) driver rear quarter has some rot at the bottom, the hood has rot as well. rockers are in decent shape. roof and around windshield are in good shape. The passanger fender is free of rot, but is dented on the end. The doors have some rot starting at the bottoms as well. The car was repainted sometime during its life, but is an original starlite black (code 19) car. All glass is in good shape as well. (pictures are missing the drivers headlight bezel, I have obtained one and will include it with the car) Wheels: car has 4 chrome cragar centerline rims with hoosier tires. Tires hold air and have decent tread, but are older from sitting. Factory options: rear defogger in the glass, A/C, and 455 engine with 4 speed trans. Overall a great candidate for a restoration, being a 455/4 speed car. Car is complete and could be driven with minor going over, but would need a resto to be show quality. Car is sold as is with no warranty or refunds. Buyer responsible for pickup and shipping. Any questions email or call Rich 856-625-7813. Thank you and Good luck bidding!! Car is being relisted due to a non paying bidder. Heres a link to a youtube vid of the car running http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0B_cJi9OGME
