1996 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado w/ No Reserve!! Up for sale is my 96 silverado with 215,000 miles. I'am the second owner of this truck and I have owned it since 2004 and I bought it with 93,000 miles. I have driven this truck every day to work and it has never left me stranded. I purchased a new truck a couple of weeks ago and I really didnt want to get rid of it but having 2 trucks doesnt make much sense.The truck is 2 wheel drive and it rides up and down the road with no chatters or shakes. I have changed the oil every 4,000 miles with Mobil 1 motor oil since Ive had the truck. The interior of the truck is in pretty good shape with no tears in the seats but there are some stains in the carpet and a couple in the seats. The truck has no oil leaks or any other leaks. The tires have about 60% life left in them. Ive done a lot of work to the truck recently and heres the list. Front brake pads about a month ago New tail light lens and circuit boards for the tail lights (typical GM problem) Exhaust down pipes, catalytic convertors, seals, muffler, O2 sensors @208,000 Theres no tailpipe on the truck Power steering pump and necessary seals @208,000 Mass air flow sensor @208,000 Fan belt @205,000 Idler pulley and tensioner pulleys @205,000 Fuel pump, sending unit, fuel filter @205,000 AC delco spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor @200,000 Serviced the transmission @200,000 Serviced the rear and replaced the rear axle seals @198,000 Front rotors, wheel bearings and seals @190,000 Ive obviously done a lot more work but I dont feel the need to list all of the work that has been done. Iam pretty honest and I will tell you all of the known problems with the truck. The drivers side power seat motor is not working The truck has a CD player but the cds do get stuck every once in a while I dont know if this is a real problem but the truck does not like fuel with ethanol in it The windshield has a large chip on the passenger side that is starting to spider out, its the size of a quarter The truck does not have an A/C compressor, dryer, A/C hose because the compressor locked up and I didnt have the money to put on a new compressor. There is a bypass pulley on the truck. Theres a rust spot under the extended cab part of the truck and a couple dents and scratches in the paint The left rear tire has a very slow leak. Theres a screw up top and just needs a patch. Here are some extras that have been done to the truck 20% window tint on the rear window and the extended cab portion of the truck. 35% window tint on the front windows. Rear roll pan that is painted to the 2 tone color of the truck The front headlights are fairly new with all clear front marker lights The wheels are chrome and resemble rally wheels I still have tags on the truck and you can come by to look at the truck and test drive the truck if you would like to.
