Vehicle Detail
Here we have a nice geo metro convertible with a standard 5 speed transmission and 1.0 three cylinder motor. This is one of the best combinations for fuel mpgs that was ever built.Let me give you some details.Lets start on the possitive. The motor has excelent compression in all three cylinders.#1 cyl. 200 #2 cyl.200and # 3 cyl.205.This is better than any I have seen.I run a 94 Geo Metro four door daily and I was tempted to take the motor out of this convertible to put in my daily driver, because my one cylinder is only at 100 psi.Anyhow the motor is top of the line. The 5 speed transmission shifts nicely through all 5 gears. Also absolutly no fluid leaks. It is clean. The top is in very good shape along with the back window. The windows go up and down easy. The A-arm surports are very solid (see pictures). All the rubbers around the doors and other places are good. The windshield has no streaks or chips, and has the factory tinted windsheild top to repel the sunlight.Brakes good.Exhaust tight,no leaks.Fresh oil change and filters.Clutch feels good.Lights all work. It's ready for the road. On the negative side. There is a wrinkle in the hood near the one hinge. It has a cigerate burn on the passenger side seat. The drivers seat has duct tape over a riped warn area, where you go in and out.The carpet is warn with one hole by the drivers left foot area, and there is a broken plastic interior part below the speaker behind the drivers seat.Lasty on the outside below the drivers door in the rocker area is a place where it was patched with some fiberglass.I did not do it,but you can see it was not a good job.But it did cover what must have been a hole at one time.I think I have pictures of the problem areas mentioned. If I was to keep the car I would invest in some good seat covers and floor mats(out of sight-out of mind concept) and feel very confident about the possitive things that really count when it comes to these little cars and are going to keep it going for years to come as I pass many a gas station with a smile knowing I am getting 45-50 MPG.If I think of anything I missed I will add it later. Thanks for looking. Also:If you do not have established possitive feedback as in 9 out of 10.don't bid before talking to me on the phone first,or I will cancel you bid in all fairness to any other interested party. All fair and honest E-bayers understand this policy.I have done my best to describe in detail this car,so bid with confidence. My cell number is 814-746-1263.Calling is better, because I am not quick to answer E-mail.Thanks Marty
