1976 Mercedes-Benz 450SL, 132,000 miles. This car has seen much restoration work performed. A rebuilt steering box was installed along with new steering gear (tie rods etc). The front sub-frame was cracked and was subsequently replaced under a factory recall, the subframe and engine mounts were renewed at this time. A new transmission mount was also installed. The brake calipers were rebuilt, new rotors installed and a new master cylinder. Fuel accumulator, damper, filter and fuel lines are all new. No gas smell from all those old hoses like many of these cars have. All new rubber around doors, top and trunk. New battery. Tires are also new. Any rust was professionally repaired by having the rust cut out and repaired with metal.The car starts instantly, runs smoothly, excellent transmission and feels very tight and solid. Tracks just like a Mercedes should Car is sold as is so ask as many questions as you like or come look at it first! I enjoyed driving this car in the fall more than any other time of year.
