2006 CHRYSLER - PT CRUISER TOURING EDITION Complete with 8 Year Preferred Wrap Warranty/ CoverageI purchased this car in February 2007 from a dealership on Long Island NY. The car was approximately 1 year old and had one previous owner. The CARFAX report was clean and the car was in perfect as new condition. The mileage is very low for a 2006. I purchased the car at the dealership with an extended warranty called COMPLETE CARE, which covers ALL major problems from bumper to bumper - It is referred to as a Preferred Wrap Warranty - good for 8 years or up to 80000 miles, whichever comes first. I have only done 35500 miles on the odometer, therefore the warranty is good for another 3 years. The extended warranty was purchased for approx $2150. It drives beautifully and I have not had any major problems. I've REALLY enjoyed owning this car... it's extremely fun to drive and holds the road well. It is a great mid size car, has a really cool retro look and is perfect for all types of driving! The car DOES HAVE rear seats! I took them out to show just how much room there is in the back. It holds a huge amount of stuff - a deceptively large storage capacity for a smaller car. I live in NY and the bumpers are typical of all vehicles in the city. The front bumper has a few nicks in it and the rear bumper has a lot of scratches (see photo). I had a quote to fix the bumpers (respray) and I was told that I could get each one done for approx $300. At the end of 2009, whilst I was making a turn in NY, a cargo van came around my vehicle and clipped my bumper. The insurance took care of the claim and fortunately, there was no damage to the car, other than needing a new bumper. I have the receipts and contact information of the shop that fixed it. One major reason that I purchased this car was the fact that the rear seats are COMPLETELY removable! This means that if you need to move a lot of stuff then the cubic capacity is amazing for a car of this size. I tried out small SUV's prior to purchase and found that I could fit more things in the back than all of the SUV's I tried.
