Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on an un restored original 1963 Buick Riviera (First year produced for the Riviera). This car has been in the family since it was purchased in 62. The Riviera is all original accept for the following replacement parts and his always been garage kept. Complete Exhaust a few years ago New Battery Last year. This battery is a NON SERVICE battery utilizing modern battery technology but looks like an original type Delco Battery. List of the good: Original Paint (although it has been touched up in several places it looks great for 50yr old paint) Original Interrior Original Wheels/spoke caps Original T3 Headlights that still work Engine 445 Wildcat which is a 401cu in 'Nail Head' with a single 4barrel Carb. Low Miles 29K Transmission works fine. This is a special trans that when in 'D' you cannot feel it shift 'Centripical clutch' as it has been explained to me. The car rides VERY well for Bias Ply original type tires. Need to be careful around the corners Typical Bias Ply tires squiel. Carburator was rebuilt this spring (choke may need some tuning still) Tires are 8+ years old but hold air and drive fine, no dry rott All windows crank up and down AM Radio works (kind of) Valume is finiky Although not pictured in the engine bay pics we have the original window washer fluid 'glass resevior' with new NOS Lable. This car has been a show car for many years and has won it's share of awards. It comes with a custom Display for use at car shows List of the not so good: Some of the Dashboard heater contols are kind of frozen up may need lubricated, then should work fine 'Cold blooded' Engine runs great when warmed up. It is a little finiky when cold Some serface rust on the interrior vent down by the passenger kick panel. Car was optioned with A/C delete Hate to sell it but it needs to find a good home Small oil leak maybe a silver dollar size drip overnight but what do you expect being 50yr old :) Questions please respond to this Auction and I will provide the owners contact info (too many scams)
