Vehicle Detail
I bought this from my neighbor a few months ago as I felt the need to rescue it from being parked for approx 8 years; I believe I am the third owner. I really do not need four cars so I am selling it. No mods, limited slip rear differential, all stock, original paint, rust only where there are small dents in the body. Both fender flares on driver side are cracked. I replaced the tail lenses with lenses from a 1983 Celica Supra (the 1985 lenses will come with the vehicle; see photo for broken backup lense). Within the past few months I replaced the following (all Toyota OEM parts except where noted): timing belt, battery, plugs, wires, dizzy cap, rotor, cam tower gaskets, fuel pump, idler pully, idler pully spring, drive belts, the 3 front oil seals, water pump, thermostat, front side lens, misc. vacuum hoses, radiator hoses, new tires (215/70 R14), misc parts from the u-pull including tail lights from an 83 Supra. I have been daily driving the Supra for the past few weeks with no issues. I also leak checked the A/C and recharged it with Freeze 12 last week - blows cold. There are a few small holes in the muffler and the MK2 will eventually need new shocks and struts. The temperature gauge spikes to hot for 20 seconds or so as the engine is approaching normal operating temperature then returns to normal temperature (this is either due to an air bubble in the cooling system or a grounding issue with the gauge). The factory radio works but I would recommend replacing the spearkers and maybe the deck itself as the sound is not the best, the radio antenna no longer goes up and down.
