This has been a fantastic vehicle for the past several years, and now we’ve moved and can’t take it with us. The engine is a beast and runs smoothly with tremendous power. The motor has just over 165k miles on it. EXTERIOR: A truly beautiful shiny deep green. There are the typical scratches from being parked outside for the past year, but it does look really sharp. The wheels are chrome and could likely be re-chromed, but will look great for several years to come. Above the rear license plate is a faux-metallic design piece about 2 feet long and less than an inch thick. It has cracked, but really this is so minor that it’s almost not worth mentioning. I just want to have full disclosure for any potential buyer. INTERIOR: It was told to me by someone who restores BMWs to bleach the seats, but I never looked into it. I think they look fine. The driver’s side seat does, however, have scratches and the upholstery on that one seat may need to be replaced. The electronics’ unit at the base of the driver’s side has come unscrewed, but the electronics moving the seat forward-and-back, up-and-down, etc work just fine. The previous owner was a smoker. There is no smell of smoke, but there are a couple of minor markings where ash touched near the driver’s side window. No burn marks or holes. The cupholder needs to be fixed, but that is a very minor fix. Other than that, I really do think this car is fantastic!! I had the work appraised and to make everything like new comes in about $550. However, you don’t have to do any work, and the car will continue to run perfectly and look great. MISC: There is a new spare tire with a perfect condition BMW wheel in the trunk. The original tool kit is also in the trunk. All in all this is a special car looking for a new home! We are located in Irvine, California.
