Vehicle Detail

Engine and transmission were both rebuilt/overhauled prior to us buying it. It runs great had less than 4,000 on engine and trans when we bought it. We put about 2,000 on it since then. I bought it to make a dune buggy but when I got it home my wife decided to maintan it instead. Seats and dash recently redone (about 2 years ago). Carpeting is in good condition. Has some rust issues - All rust is surface rust only - no holes in the body, and the floor pans are also solid. Was in this condition 2 years ago when I bought it. I was planning on doing a basic removal/ replacement of fenders, paint it and have it put it back together with origanal welting, but since the paint itself is good, I never saw it as a priority. We've enjoyed driving it around, lots of people complementing us on it and of course remembering the day we and the car were much younger. My wife used it as daily car going to work and such (about 7 miles). It starts right up even in winter snow with no problems whatsoever! Great car for drives in the country, local car meets and/or a dependable daily car. We had it registered as an antique (30 years) so it's exempt from annual inspection in our state, I believe most states are the same way but you would need to check. Our plans and priorities have changed, so it's time to let it go so someone else can enjoy it as much as we did.
