This volvo is one of about 3000 that were built in 1972. It has a rebuilt transmission and engine with 11,000 miles on them. The current miles are 128,000. The auto has original AC and the body has never been in a serious accident. I have owned the car since 1984. The car runs good and could be driven anywhere. The AC is not currently hooked up. The transmission is an automatic and rebuilt by Penninsula Automatic Transmissions of Mountainview, Calif. The transmission is very tight and acceleration is great for a 3800 pound touring car. I have consistently gotton 19-22 miles per gallon around the city. The engine was bored .30 over and develops about 140 HP. The fuel injection system has had the relays, fuel pump and lines replaced. The gas tank was cleaned and reconditioned. The car has new tires. New dash covers are in place and new door seals are included. The door opening seals are half finished. Window glass seals are included. A new seal has been installed on the rear glass door. There are two rust spots on the car. One small spot by the front right (passenger) side. and the drip edge Holding the rear glass door will need to be repaired. I have the factory manuel for the car. This car was named one of the 10 best cars in the world for 1972, and has many inovations that make it special. The car is complete and I have alot of extra parts for a new owner. This car is an ideal restoration project. All of the parts are original and complete. One small item is the rear glass door lock needs replacement and I have managed to find it on the internet.
