1975 Jaguar XJ6L with 96467 miles that has never been driven in snow. The appraiser described the car as a number "2 1/2"; nice daily driver condition and looks great with a very presentable exterior in Primrose yellow and an interior that is in remarkable condition for a 36 year old Jag ; no rips/tears in the seats or door panels and slight deterioration of the headliner. There is minor cracking on the surface of the wood in the dash but it's still very presentable. The car is currently licensed and safety inspected (through June 2012), is driven regularly, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it home. All power windows, power locks, gauges, heater, and a/c work. I had the car listed about 3 weeks ago and, although the winning bid met the reserve, it turned out to be another non-paying bidder. There seems to be an epidemic of these lately; if you have no feedback, please contact me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. I'll require a $1000 deposit through Paypal within 24 hours of the auction close and the balance in cash or certified cheque within another 6 days. The car is kept in a secure garage and I'll be happy to keep it there free until the winning bidder can pick it up. I'll also be happy to help the winner import to the U.S. (I'm about 60miles from Calais, Maine) and there is no duty or tax to take the car into the U.S. I could even do the paperwork and deliver it to Calais or Bangor, Maine for the winner for gas/expenses.
